The "traditional" mining companies
and their projects
Barrick is one of the biggest international mining companies with mining interests throughout the world, including the Pascua-Lama project in Chile. That will be one of the biggest goldmines of the world.
Barrick is not the only mining company that wants to exploit the mountains of the zone, though. One of the other projects' names is Noranda, a chinese company.
